Winterthur Invitational: 10 Years of Excellence
Every Saturday in May
We are celebrating ten years of the Winterthur Invitational this May. Step back in time to see elegant automobiles of the country-estate era. Enjoy a series of displays of magnificent historic automobiles on select Saturdays in May. Each Saturday will feature a different thematic display and associated lecture. Visit our lectures page for more information on the lectures.
From 1916 to 1969, hundreds of guests came to Winterthur for glittering social occasions hosted by Henry Francis and Ruth Wales du Pont. During the heyday of Winterthur as a du Pont family home, guests arrived in a wide variety of automobiles that reflected the latest in design and fashion. To honor this tradition, Winterthur will have on view grand vehicles from the 1910s through the 1950s each Saturday in May 2016 for you to enjoy! Weather permitting. Members free. Included with admission.
