A Colorful Folk: Pennsylvania Germans & the Art of Everyday Life

February 28, 12:00–4:00 pm

All Members are invited to view A Colorful Folk: Pennsylvania Germans & the Art of Everyday Life, in advance of its opening to the general public. Enjoy a special lecture with exhibition curator Lisa Minardi, special guided house tours focused on Pennsylvania German objects in the collections, artisan demonstrations in the Galleries Reception Atrium, and a beer garden in the Visitor Center Café. The Museum Store and cafés will be open, and our cafés will be offering Pennsylvania-German–inspired food. Members free. Member guests admitted with guest pass. Reservations required.






Member Discount: The Artist's Garden: American Impressionism and the Garden Movement, 1887–1920 Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts

Historic Landmark Building

The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts is offering a $5 adult admission ticket discount to all Winterthur Members during the run of this exhibition. The exhibition is focused on the period 1887–1920, and tells the story of American Impressionist artists and the growing popularity of gardening as a middle-class leisure pursuit at the turn of the 20th century, bringing together paintings, sculpture, books, and stained glass. Winterthur Members show their membership card for discount.
