JOB TITLE:  E-Commerce Assistant, part-time July2014-Jun2015

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:  Assists the General Manager and Merchandise Manager in developing and actualizing annual business plan strategies and tactics related to increased sales via the web. This position will deliver continuous improvement in institutional contribution with a focus on preeminent customer satisfaction and drive sales through online store sales and social media promotions. The duties include but not limited to gathering product information, generating sales trends reports and recommending merchandise changes based on the reports, photographing product images, adding/deleting products to website, coordinating online orders and seasonal changes, providing excellent customer service and working with management to suggest changes in promotion strategies in order to increase sales.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:  Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent, with college coursework in marketing, e-commerce. Minimum knowledge/skills: Strong working knowledge of computer applications (Photoshop, WORD, Excel, Outlook and Power Point). Strong interpersonal, phone skills and ability to sell merchandise. Ability to comprehend and follow directions, work in a team environment and excellent customer service skills. Able to respond quickly and accurately to conflicting priorities. Flexible and good organizational skills. Detail oriented . Able to respond quickly and accurately to conflicting priorities and make recommendations to sales promotions/strategies to increase business. Basic understanding of e-commerce/marketing/on-line sales. Basic knowledge of the use of social media to increase sales. Valid driverís license, Ability to lift approximately 40 lbs. Minimum experience: 3 years working in retail environment.

JOB TITLE:  Audio Visual Technician, part-time

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:  Will provide Audio Video support to events, conferences, lectures, weddings etc. This heavily weekend and evening hour position will be expected to ensure the proper functioning of presentations using a PC platform. He/she set up systems, troubleshoot A/V equipment when there are technical questions or problems related to A/V equipment and identify appropriate solutions as well as shut down systems appropriately. This positions works directly with speakers, internal staff and special guests so customer service is important when resolving issues. He/she understands company processes, follows procedures, completes paperwork accurately as well as uses work order sheets to determine the equipment scheduled for use.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:  Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum knowledge/skills: Basic understanding of computer operating systems with audio and video cards, projector, amplifier as well as microphone operation and maintenance. Flexible schedule, with ability to work weekends and evenings. Knowledge of PCs and PowerPoint. Ability to communicate well and creatively resolve AV issues. Team player. Ability to work under pressure. Good customer service skills. Minimum experience: Six months experience specifically doing computer/AV duties.

JOB TITLE:  PT Temp Visitor Services Asst, WIT

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:  Will provide phone information regarding Winterthur exhibitions, tours, tour packages, membership and other information related to Winterthur, and will process and sell tickets for Winterthur tours and programs using excellent customer service phone skills.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:  Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent degree. Minimum knowledge/skills: Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills. Must be able to understand and apply a large level of detailed information as well as accurately utilize basic math skills. Computer skills required, including successfully completing Basic assessment testing in Outlook and ability to learn ticketing system is essential. Must be willing to work holidays, and extended hours and have a flexible schedule. Minimum experience: 1-3 years of phone reservation and customer service experience.

JOB TITLE:  Part-time Communications Assistant

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:  Will support public relations activities in the Marketing & Communications Department by assisting the Communications Manager with primarily administrative and database tasks, including preparation and distribution of press materials, maintenance of media databases, communication with media/press, and editing group tourism materials. He/she will maintain the electronic and print calendar listings and monitor media for Winterthur mentions. He/she will assist colleagues within the institution as requested by his/her supervisor.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:  Minimum education: BA/BS with a concentration in any of the following disciplines: marketing, mass communications, public relations, journalism, or related fields. Minimum knowledge/skills: Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both in writing and in person. Energetic and professional demeanor, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects in fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines. Good writing skills. Knowledge of databases. Strong administrative and customer service skills. Flexible and able to work independently. Basic social media/marketing/public relations knowledge. Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook and functional knowledge of PhotoShop. Minimum experience: 2 years of administrative experience with at least some experience in a communications, public relations or marketing department and working with a database.
