JOB TITLE:  E-Commerce Assistant, part-time

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:  Assists the General Manager and Merchandise Manager in developing and actualizing annual business plan strategies and tactics related to increased sales via the web. This position will deliver continuous improvement in institutional contribution with a focus on preeminent customer satisfaction and drive sales through online store sales and social media promotions. The duties include but not limited to gathering product information, generating sales trends reports and recommending merchandise changes based on the reports, photographing product images, adding/deleting products to website, coordinating online orders and seasonal changes, providing excellent customer service and working with management to suggest changes in promotion strategies in order to increase sales.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:  Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent, with college coursework in marketing, e-commerce. Minimum knowledge/skills: Strong working knowledge of computer applications (Photoshop, WORD, Excel, Outlook and Power Point). Strong interpersonal, phone skills and ability to sell merchandise. Ability to comprehend and follow directions, work in a team environment and excellent customer service skills. Able to respond quickly and accurately to conflicting priorities. Flexible and good organizational skills. Detail oriented . Able to respond quickly and accurately to conflicting priorities and make recommendations to sales promotions/strategies to increase business. Basic understanding of e-commerce/marketing/on-line sales. Basic knowledge of the use of social media to increase sales. Valid driverís license, Ability to lift approximately 40 lbs. Minimum experience: 3 years working in retail environment.
