Partial proceeds from this program help fund Fantastic Fridays. Programs are subject to change. Your donation helps purchase supplies for a program offered at no cost to the Salvation Army. Fantastic Fridays introduces children in the Salvation Army’s summer camp and afterschool programs to museums and all they have to offer. Two Fridays each month during the school year, Winterthur staff teach children about art, antiques, and art conservation through crafts, games, and science experiments. Undergraduate interns and teen volunteers lead activities each week during the summer, giving them experience in education as well as an opportunity to foster meaningful relationships with the students.
