Galleries Reception Atrium: The most popular space for social gatherings, dinners, or dancing, this naturally-lit, spacious interior provides quick access to guided tours of the collection and the exhibitions area. Additional tenting enlarges this area to accommodate groups of almost any size.
Copeland Lecture Hall: An ideal setting for lectures, corporate meetings, and performing arts presentations. Located in the Visitor Center, the lecture hall is convenient for all-day programs. An adjustable podium, audiovisual equipment, WIFI, and staff are also available.
Visitor Center Pavilion: The glass walls in this building open to the lush gardens and ponds of Winterthur’s landscape. Movable partitions make this a more intimate gathering space for small groups or a spacious setting for groups of up to 400. Adjoining facilities include the reception area, Bookstore, Copeland Lecture Hall, and outside terrace.
Historic Rooms: The Somerset Room, Bowers Parlor, and Charleston Dining Room combine the elegance and charm of historic architecture with the practicality of a modern meeting facility. These rooms can be used for small meetings, seminars, lunch, or dinner.
Reflecting Pool: This pool reflects the colors and textures of the Winterthur Garden, while the museum and graceful garden statuary create one of the more formal garden areas at Winterthur. Garden furniture, water lilies floating in the pool, and abundant planters make this venue a favorite for more elegant entertaining.
Conservatory: Newly refurbished, the conservatory is quickly becoming one of our most popular venues. This glass-walled structure has easy access to the gardens and collection, and is ideal for luncheons or nighttime events.
