Discover how the old influences the new with crafts, games, and demonstrations inspired by the artists and makers of the Transformations: Contemporary Artists at Winterthur exhibition as they introduce design, history, and craftsmanship to kids ages 3‒10 and the adults they bring along. New activities and guests each week.
On August 20, guest artist Selina Toedter will join us for a day centered on re-used materials and re-claimed objects. Activities will include dress-pattern collage, fabric yoyos, a communal quilt, and making and decorating seed bags.
On August 27, guest artist Sarah Rafferty will join us for a day of cyanotypes, herbariums, and natural dyes.
Drop-in program. $5; free for Members and children under age 2. Includes General Admission.
