Explore the fascinating history of women’s and men’s pockets in this virtual lecture featuring a tie-on pocket in the collection. Hannah Carlson, Winterthur summer research fellow and senior lecturer in the apparel design department at the Rhode Island School of Design, will explore the “pocket question,” and politics of individual preparedness and privacy. Registration required.
